September 2026 Newsletter
Thank you so much for celebrating our 20th anniversary with us last month! We are in full swing with our fall session schedule and so excited to have everyone back in the gym!
A few things to note as we head into September:
- We are closed for Labor Day break Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7. Fall classes resume Tuesday, September 8.
- Your second half of fall tuition is due by October 1. If payment is not made by that date, a late fee will be added. You can pay in the office or through your Parent Portal.
- Did you know we offer these classes? Homeschool classes on Friday mornings, recreational cheer on Thursdays, and adult gymnastics on Sunday nights!
- Happy Troy Lucas Scholarship news! Because of amazing coaches and thoughtful community members, we are proud to share that we are able to provide FOUR local youth the opportunity of free weekly lessons this school year! We are so grateful to everyone who made this possible.
Happy Fall,
Katie Cernea

Good Grades quarterly drawing continues for the 2026-2027 school year!
Even if your school uses trimesters, you are still eligible. This year’s drawing dates are: November 18, January 13, April 7, and June 16.
The Good Grades Quarterly Drawing is a program offered by Gem City Gymnastics & Tumbling to encourage our athletes to work hard in the classroom. For every A or equivalent earned, our athletes have the chance to win free Gem City merch of their choice from the Pro Shop for free! (Gem City merch does not include non-branded products or class tuition.)
Hard work in the classroom is just as important as hard work in the gym, and we are proud to offer this program to our athletes. We hope that it will help them to continue to strive for excellence in both areas.
