For April’s newsletter, we’re dreaming of spring and planning for summer.


Recruiting for Next Season’s All Star Cheer Squad

Gem City will begin recruiting for its next All Star Cheer Squad for the 2018-2019 season with an informational meeting on Thursday, April 12 from 7:30 p.m. in our lobby.

At this meeting, you’ll learn about competitive all star cheer, USASF, and the tryout process. You will also meet the coaches, learn about practices, and discuss time commitment and costs. This is all for your information. Attending this meeting in no way requires you to tryout.

The actual tryout date for the 2018-2019 season will take is Tuesday, May 15. The tryouts is available for anyone 10 years of age or older. Read more about it here.


Start Planning for Summer!

Evaluations
Begins the Week of April 9

During Evaluation Week, coaches test each student during class and provide a written recommendation for what class your child should attend the next session.

If you have questions about the evaluation, please don’t hesitate to speak with your child’s coach.

Summer Schedules

Printed summer schedule with pricing will be handed out to all classes. It is also currently available online at

MyGemCity.com/classes.

Summer Registration

Sign-up for summer classes begins Monday, April 16. Tuition is due upon registration. The Summer session runs from May 30 to August 8.


Mark your Calendar

The Last Pizza Fun Night of the School Year is on Friday, May 4 from 6:30-9:30. Let others know that you’ll be there by following the Facebook event.

Good Luck, Athletes!

Level 8 gymnasts will head to Regionals later this month in Akron, Ohio!

Good luck to the tumbling team! They compete at State this month in Pana.
