Top Finishes Earned by Tumblers in Flora
The Gem City Tumbling Team kept their momentum going with a strong second competition of the season in Flora, Illinois on December 7. Twelve GCGT athletes represented the team, and they turned in an excellent slate of performances across every level.
The season is shaping up to be an exciting one for this group. Coaches were proud of the focus, confidence, and continued improvement meet over meet. It was another weekend that showed just how much hard work and dedication these athletes are putting into their training.
The tumbling team is coached by Zeke Cernea, Anne Nash, Sydney Sherman, Lydia Schrand, and Josey Miller. They praised the group’s focus, sportsmanship, and excitement to be back on the floor.
