Gem City’s level 7 competitive gymnasts Carlie Anders, 14 from Quincy, and Lindyn Lair, 10 of Quincy, are preparing to compete at USAG State on March 28-30 in Dekalb, Illinois!

Woohoo! We’re sending big cheers and all our awesome support to our amazing level 4 & 5 gymnasts as they head to USAG State in Bourbonnais, Illinois from March 14-16.
All Star cheer tryouts for Gem City’s 2025-2026 season will take place on Saturday, May 10 for Gem City’s Level 1 and Level 2 Elite squads. The tryout is available for all skill levels and ages 7 to 18.
Our incredible Gem City level 3 team is about to take the USAG State competition by storm in Waukegan, Illinois, on March 21-23 – we couldn’t be more proud!
Fourteen of the fifteen Gem City’s tumblers competing in Mascoutah earned top three finishes. Seven of those fourteen were first place finishes!
Gem City’s All Star Cheer Squads competed at a two day competition in Kansas City at the Athletic Championships on March 1-2! With this two day event, 25% of the first day’s scores carry over to day two, so day two is very important! Phoenix brought home 4th place, hitting zero on day two and even upping their score from day one to day two by a whole point! The Diamonds also earned 4th place!

Gem City always loves competing at the Mardi Gras Invitational! The gymnastics team compete at the meet on February 15-16 in St. Charles, MO. Our Level 7 team earned 2nd Place!
Tumblers headed to Normal, Ilinois, on February 16 for the 2024-2025 USTA Team Trial and Super Invitational. Gem City had two athletes win high point challenges with one earning a spot on the USTA National Team.
Gem City’s cheer squads competed in Peoria on February 15 for Jamfest! The Phoenix (level 2 elite senior squad) earned 3rd Place while the Diamonds (level 1 elite youth squad) earned 6th Place!
