Road to Nationals: Gem City Cheer Sets Sights on a Title Run in Louisville

Both of Gem City’s All-Star Cheer Squads are preparing to take the national stage! After months of dedication and determination, these talented athletes are ready to showcase their skills.

Both teams kicked off their season in May last summer, putting in long hours of practice and competing in three invitationals to earn their spots at Nationals. Now, it’s time for the ultimate challenge! This year both squads will be heading to Louisville, Kentucky, for their Nationals competition on April 11. Phoenix will be defending their Championship title from last year!

Special shout out to our three alternates that took on the challenge of stepping in with only weeks to spare to help both our squads on the national stage.

The senior squad is coached by Hope Huff and Ashley Schralla. The youth squad is coached by Christian Klingele and Ryleee Mellon. You can read more about our all star cheer program here.
