May 2026 Newsletter
May is here, and our spring session is coming to a close! Our last day of classes is Saturday, May 16. The gym will be closed to classes May 17-31. Summer classes start Monday, June 1 and summer enrollment is still underway and going strong!
To enroll, call in or stop in during regular business hours (Monday-Thursday 3-8 pm, Friday 9 am-noon & 3-6 pm, Saturday 9 am-1 pm). The full summer schedule is now available here.
A few important reminders:
- No summer tuition is due until your first day of class, but payment must be made in person or through your Parent Portal by the end of the evening on your first night, or a $35 late fee will be added and the card on file will be charged.
- All-Star Cheer Tryouts are NEXT weekend, Saturday, May 9! Email us at gemcitytumbling@gmail.com to get all the details before you come.
- Don’t see the class you want? We’re always happy to book private classes, private lessons, small groups, or clinics to fit your needs. Just reach out!
Be sure to read about our athletes’ great results: tumblers finding success at State, gymnasts competing results at Regionals, and both all star cheer squads earning top finishes at Nationals.

Summer Skill Clinics
Clinics are a great way to dedicate focused attention on a particular skill with Gem City’s deep knowledge pool. We’re offering six clinics this summer with each focused on a particular skill.

Military Discount Reminder
All active military and veteran families receive a 100% discount on our $55 annual family registration fee. We’re honored to serve those who serve!
Preschool Playtime Continues During May Break
We will be closed May 17 to 31, but WILL still be hosting Preschool Playtime on Wednesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 27.
Bring your toddlers and preschoolers to burn energy, build coordination, and explore the gym in a safe, fun space. PP is every Wednesday morning 9:30-11:30am, ages six and under, only $9 per child.
