December 2023 Newsletter

We’re wrapping up the fall session of classes and gearing up for Christmas.

Don’t forget! Festive week will be the week of December 11! Come dressed up or get festive for Christmas! We can’t wait to see your style! We will also have a special treat for each athlete after class. 

Spring registration is underway! Don’t forget to stop in or give us a call to get your spot reserved! Spring session starts Tuesday, January 2. The spring session is a 19-week session ending on May 11.

After reserving your spring spot, don’t forget to go to our website, print the registration form, then drop off or mail your form in. First payment isn’t due until the first week of class, but your registration form is due to us before the spring session begins. Find our forms here.


🎄 Notes for December

Scheduled Break: Chirstmas Break

The last day of the fall session is Saturday, December 16. The gym is closed for classes December 17 – January 1.  We WILL be hosting Preschool Playtime and parties over break.

No make-up classes are needed as this is holiday is already factored into our tuition.

Thank You for Supporting Toys for Tots

Our goal was to fill one bin, but we ended up filling up nearly two bins! Thank you to everyone that donated. We are grateful for your help in supporting our community’s kids this Christmas season. 

Preschool Playtime

Our Preschool Playtime continues uninterrupted into the new year! We will be having PP over Christmas break.


Good luck to our gymnastics team as they have their first meet of the season this weekend!

🗓️ Next Open Gym: New Year Edition on Dec. 29

Our next Open Gym is scheduled for Friday, December 29 from 9 to 11 am, and you must pre-register by Wednesday, December 20. Ages 5-12. Members $15, nonmembers $18. This open gym will be limited to a smaller capacity than usual events, so pre-register now!


🎁 Gift a Learning Experience that They Can’t Outgrow

Consider a gift card from Gem City for the kids in your life to experience the gym firsthand!  You give can give a partial or full class. Gift cards can be used for classes, pizza fun nights, or even a party date for you!


🥣 Souper Bowl of Caring to Tackle Hunger

We are teaming up with Quincy Catholic Charities again this year for the Souper Bowl of Caring to tackle hunger!  We will have a bin in our lobby from January 2 – February 6. Please consider donating a nonperishable or canned food item! Quincy Catholic Charities operates a traditional food pantry in Quincy and also serves Adams, Pike, and Brown counties through their Mobile Food Pantry. They served a collective total of nearly 16,000 people last year alone!
