Clinics are a great way to dedicate focused attention on a particular skill with Gem City’s deep knowledge pool. This is why we’re excited this summer to offer six, one-hour clinics for athletes between the ages of 6-18.
Gem City has 26 athletes advancing to the United States Trampoline & Tumbling Association’s (USTA) Illinois State Championships in Pana, Illinois on April 23.
We’re welcoming warmer weather, wrapping up the Spring session, and getting excited for Summer classes!
We have six graduating athletes this year that are part of our team program or are staff here at the gym!
Gem City Phoenix competed on April 1 at the US Finals in Galveston, Texas, and earned third place!
Effingham, IL – Gem City’s Tumbling Team finished their last competition of the regular season on Sunday, April 2.

Gem City’s Level 7 gymnasts, Sylvia Winking & Eden Mayes, competed at USAG State in Libertyville on March 24, 2023, and BOTH of them qualified for Regionals April 21-23 in Grand Rapids, Michigan!
Gem City’s senior squad, Gem City Phoenix, is headed to Nationals from March 31 – April 2 in Galveston, Texas! The squad qualified for Nationals after attending their first invitational of the season on November 5 in Peoria, Illinois. Our squad is the DEFENDING CHAMPION from last year, so we are rooting them on!
Congrats to Emma Crockett, our third winner of the 2022-2023 Good Grades Quarterly Drawing! Emma is in Gem City’s Level 1 gymnastics class and a student at Rooney Elementary School.
