Parkour is described as using obstacles as opportunity. You’ve probably seen people doing parkour as they jump from obstacle to obstacle and vault their bodies over whatever obstacle is in their path. (Check out the video below to see what we’re talking about.)
Ever wonder if you could still learn a cartwheel or perfect your back handspring again? You can. Try it at Gem City’s Adult Gymnastics!
Adult Gymnastics is held every Wednesday from 7:45 to 9:00 p.m. It’s only $9 per class and requires no long-term commitment.
There might not be school on Friday, October 5, but there’s still an entire day to fill!
Gem City will host a School’s Out Open Gym from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. With four hours of supervised open playtime, it’s a great way for the kids to burn off energy and for you to run a few errands. The cost per child is only $20* and is open to ages 4-14.
The start of the school year is one of our favorite times of the year at Gem City. There’s so much energy around the new school year, so we like to add excitement and help keep Gem City’s little athletes motivated with our Good Grades Drawing program.
The idea is this: For every A Gem City athletes earn, they have a chance to win any item from the Pro Shop for free!*
With the older kids off to school, our day-time Preschool Playtime is a perfect time for Quincy’s littlest ones to head to Gem City Gymnastics & Tumbling!

Highlights from Gem City’s Nationally Ranked Gymnastics, Tumbling, and All Star Cheer Programs
The gymnastics, tumbling, and all star cheer programs at Gem City produced many wins during their respective competitive seasons. We are beyond proud of each athlete’s hard work and dedication. These victories represent years of work by the athletes and by our coaches as they’ve developed Gem City’s team and recreational class programs.
The start of a new school year brings to office hours for Gem City. Open hours for each day of the week are noted below. These new hours will go into effect beginning with the start of classes for the Fall Session on August 20.
Just before flinging their body into the air, has your child ever said, “Hey, look what I can do!” Your body breaks out into a sweat because you’re terrified they’re about to hurt themselves. We’ve heard countless versions of this story at Gem City Gymnastics & Tumbling.
